SEGD美国环境体验设计协会，自1987年起，组织“SEGD全球设计奖”竞赛，为环境体验设计业，构筑优秀设计标准。公共空间导视、内容和体验设计，是环境体验设计的主要内容。“SEGD全球设计奖”竞赛，则表彰这个领域杰出人才与作品。2014年以来，参加此设计竞赛的作品，都在按不同类别接受评审，以便同类别的作品彼此之间进行比较。
